Folle (mais contente) journée

Yesterday, I had a big day. I went to the movies in the morning and to a baseball game at night. It was a very lucky day for anyone to have. Most readers will probably be surprised about the baseball part. So am I.

2 Days in Paris.

The Cyclones at Keyspan Park.

How nice! My father intrduced me to The Houston Buffs in 1952, the stadium was on a site just across from the Finger Furniture Warehouse out on the Gulf Freeway by the University of Houston. Just the other side of center field was, I believe, Baker Oil Tool and they were constantly testing tanks, armored vehicles, for service in Korea by running them as fast as they would go around an oval track most of which could be seen over the centerfield fence. I think I watched more tanks than ball game but somehow I was taken in, later attending Colt 45 and Astros games until I left Houston in 1980. In Oklahoma I would go regularly from Lawton to OKC to see the Redhawks and now from Clarksville down to Nashville to see the Sounds. As we all know in the food business presentation is everything. I can't argue you into liking a particular dish but presented often enough and in the right way I just might get you interested. Ms G has certainly made the correct presentation here, eh?
